Refund Policy

Effective Date: March 1, 2025

Business Name: Johana Dilus Signature Events (also operating as Johana Events)

At Johana Dilus Signature Events, we dedicate time, resources, and planning efforts immediately upon booking. Please review our refund policy carefully before submitting any payments.

1. All Sales Are Final

All payments made to Johana Dilus Signature Events are non-refundable. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Booking retainers
• Save-the-date fees
• Deposits
• Partial payments
• Final balances

Once a payment is submitted, it cannot be refunded for any reason.

2. Retainers & Deposits

• All retainers and deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
• Retainers secure your event date and remove availability from our calendar.
• Retainers do not guarantee services without a signed agreement.

3. Event Cancellations

If the client cancels services for any reason:

• No refunds will be issued
• All payments made will be forfeited
• Any remaining balance may still be due if outlined in the signed agreement

4. Rescheduling Policy

• Rescheduling requests must be submitted in writing.
• Approval is subject to availability and discretion.
• Retainers may be applied to a rescheduled date one (1) time only within 6–12 months (your choice).
• Additional fees may apply.

5. Digital Products & Virtual Services

All digital products, downloads, templates, virtual planning sessions, and guides are:

• Final sale
• Non-refundable
• Non-exchangeable

Once access is granted or materials are delivered, no refunds will be issued.

6. Rentals & Décor Services

• Rental fees are non-refundable once items are reserved.
• Cancellations do not release payment obligations.
• Refunds will not be issued for unused rental items.

7. No-Show Policy

If the client fails to attend a scheduled consultation, planning session, or event service without prior notice:

• The service will be considered rendered
• No refunds or credits will be issued

8. Force Majeure

Johana Dilus Signature Events is not responsible for refunds due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:

• Weather conditions
• Natural disasters
• Acts of God
• Government restrictions
• Venue closures

9. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

Clients agree not to file chargebacks for services rendered or retainers paid. Unauthorized chargebacks may result in:

• Immediate termination of services
• Collections action
• Responsibility for associated fees

10. Acknowledgment

By submitting payment, clients acknowledge they have read, understood, and agreed to this Refund Policy in full.
